How Caring for Fruit Crops in Pots
In terms of treatment, fruit trees in pots is not quite difficult. Similarly, without the media pot plants, must be nurtured and given water. However, there are some tricks that the media does not hamper the growth of the pot plants. True, the treatment is not much different, still cultivate, can be manure or NPK fertilizer use.
Specifically, caring for fruit trees in pots must take several factors. First, for watering in the dry season is necessary. If using tap water, which usually contains chlorine, preferably overnight and the next day endapkan new first poured. But, really try not to splash water pooled more than 12 hours.
Stagnant water can induce root rot. Watering also depends on the season, summer time so once a day, and vice versa. When watering be done before the morning and afternoon at 09.00 after 16.00.
Second, the penggemburan. Keep the seedlings growing media does not compact. Solidified media usually occurs due to excessive watering. After that, do penggemburan using a small trowel. Be careful, lest you damage the roots.
Third, the fertilization. Despite growing media use manure, organic fertilizers are still needed in planting seedlings. Until the age of 2 years, every 4 months, add NPK (15:15:15) at 25 grams per drum. Since the age of 3 years and beyond, each drum was given 100 grams of NPK (15:15:15). How, buried as deep as 10 cm NPK fertilizer, then flush until quite wet.
Fourth, the replacement land. Changing the soil medium plants once a year is enough according to Feby. However, it would be better if done twice a year. Especially if the root is broken, potting media should be replaced immediately.
Fifth, trimming. For example rambutan plants, in addition to forming the habitus (canopy) plants that seem short, and also to branch and balanced growth. Trimming prime done when the plants are less than a year, or about 75-100 cm tall stems from the drum surface.
Way of pruning is to cut prime, select three primary branches. When the length of primary branches reached 50 cm, trim the ends to grow secondary branches.
Choose only three secondary branches per primary branch. Next, trim the tips of the branches to grow secondary tertiary branches, and select only three tertiary branches. Of the three branches of the tertiary is going to happen flowering and fruiting.
Now, after understanding the treatment procedures, of course you are more daring now started planting fruit in pots. Indeed, if gardening is a hobby, not to mention tabulampot, still have to require care that the desired results are also maximum and the treated plants productive. The plants are also living things that need taken care of, loved.
